Since I "came of age" for prostate checks, selecting doctors gains one new criterion. Hand size. I know medical tests are important and sometimes life saving. Sometimes, they're fodder for humor.

OH GOSH my doctor is a woman I like a great deal, but holy cats, sheesh! She has tricked me twice (GASP! GULP!) Plus she sees my wife, and it is a very sad but true thing to say "she has gone places on both of us where husbands and wives do not go". I saw her in August for a checkup and she had a beautiful 25 year old med student with her and I said at the outset "Dr., my prostrate is FINE" as I did not need both of them....well...anyway..... :)
