Throwback Thursday

Happy for the Spring Thaw
The snow in the middle of the yard is still hip deep (bear in mind I'm  '6"3). We haven't had many days above freezing since October. Longtime residents say this Manitoba winter is the 'worst' in their memory. Now we're thinking the long lasting winter might mean little to no summer.

In this picture my brother and I rejoice that winter seems to have vacated our little town in Montana giving way to sloppy streets and more playtime outdoors. I remember that feeling...and still feel it on the days the winds are a bit warmer and the water trickles from those snowbanks.
